The sea log concept is a mat of concrete "logs" shaped much like parking lot space bumpers that are connected by chains. These mats are laid out on the riverbank over filter cloth to form a boat ramp or in front of a structure to provide scour protection from waves or currents. The mats measure 8 feet by 4 feet wide for ease of transportation and handling.
